On Tuesday May 14, Dr. Maya Wind (University of British Columbia) will come to Utrecht University to dicuss her recent book Towers of Ivory and Steel: How Istraeli Universities Deny Palestinian Freedom (Verso, 2024).

After the book-talk, we will be joined by Itai van de Wal (Law Student, organiser, and legal officer at European Legal Support Center), Dr. Diana Vela-Almeida (Assistant Professor of Political Ecology of Sustainability, Utrecht University), and Dr. Sai Englert (Assistant Professor of Political Economfy of the Middle East, Leiden University). The talk will be hosted by Dr. Layal Ftouni (Assistant Professor of Gender Studies and Critical Theory, Utrecht University).
