Liedeke Plate has been appointed Professor of Culture and Inclusivity at Radboud University as of 1 January 2018.
Liedeke Plate researches the relationship between literature, gender and cultural memory. She has published extensively on women’s rewritings of well-known, classic or canonical texts, culminating in her book Transforming Memories in Contemporary Women’s Rewriting (Palgrave 2011).
