In collaboration with the Feministisch Cultuurfonds Gender&wetenschap (Feminist Cultural Foundation Gender&knowledge) the NOG organizes national symposia featuring the latest developments in the field of gender and postcolonial studies. We are happy to announce that these biennial symposia will host the award ceremony of two FC G&W prizes. One prize (€5.000) will be dedicated to a PhD Dissertation (open to all disciplines) and a second award (€7.500) will be issued to a feminist or gender-sensitive public event or cultural production, e.g. an exhibition, (graphic) novel, documentary, theater show etc. Applications for both prizes ought to showcase a strong engagement with feminist topics, approaches and/or methods. The first award ceremony is scheduled for October 2023. Updates about the symposium and application procedures can be found shortly on our NOG website.
